Bryn Truscott was elected as Councillor for Redhill East in this week’s local elections. Bryn joins Green Councillors Jonathan Essex and Sarah Finch, giving us a group of three Greens.
Elsewhere in the Borough, five other Green candidates got varying vote shares up to 16.1%
Cllr Sarah Finch says, “Congratulations to Bryn and everyone who helped with his campaign.
“This is the first time we’ve stood six candidates in Reigate & Banstead. The excellent result in Redhill East is the result of year-round campaigning, and the hard work done on the Council.
“The results in Redhill West and Earlswood & Whitebushes are very promising and we will continue to work with residents in those wards on issues that concern them, while trying to build up support elsewhere.”
