Natalie Bennett to speak at Redhill event
We’re delighted that new Green Party leader Natalie Bennett has accepted our invitation to speak at a Fundraising Dinner for Reigate and Banstead Green Party next month.
Natalie was editor of The Guardian Weekly from 2007 until 2012, and previously its deputy editor having also worked at The Times and other British and international newspapers. She has also worked as a UN consultant in Asia on women’s and children’s issues and has an academic background in agricultural science.
She was elected leader of The Green Party of England and Wales in September 2012.
Natalie is a lively and interesting speaker and we know that local supporters will enjoy meeting and hearing from her.
All supporters, and their families and friends, are warmly invited to the dinner, which will take place at Mela Indian restaurant, 1 Linkfield Street, Redhill, Surrey RH1 1 HQ on Wednesday 13 February 2013 at 7.30 pm.
The ticket price is £25 per person (£12.50 for children and concessions) for a delicious three course Indian meal (drinks not included). All proceeds will go to Reigate and Banstead Green Party.
