We are pleased to be helping Reigate and Redhill CND and Stop the War to publicise Bruce Kent’s visit to Redhill and Reigate on 29 April.
The veteran peace campaigner will be here as part of his month-long Scrap Trident Tour.
He will be speaking at two open air public meetings and an indoor meeting at St Joseph’s Church Hall – see details here
Green Councillor and anti-cuts campaigner Sarah Finch says, “Scrapping Trident would save billions of pounds of taxpayers’ money that would be better spent on hospitals, homes, schools and green jobs.
“Scrapping Trident would also make the world a safer, more peaceful place. Nuclear weapons only encourage the kind of frightening brinkmanship we’re seeing from North Korea now. Trident, or any nuclear replacement, is no answer to any of the threats we face.
“We hope that Bruce Kent will get a warm reception in Redhill.”
