Green Action Days Spring 2019

Please support our campaign to win more Council seats in Reigate and Banstead at the local elections this spring. We have three Green councillors – one pipped in last time just 17 votes ahead of the Tory – and we want to keep them and win more seats.

Leafleting

We have a huge number of leaflets to deliver between now and election day!  All help is welcome.

We are leafleting in Redhill and Earlswood.  There will be two big pushes on:

  • Friday 12 April – when we will deliver to every postal voter in our target wards, to make sure it’s fresh in their mind when they receive their postal ballot form the next day.
  • Wednesday 1 May – when we will deliver a reminder to vote to all our supporters.

If you could help on one of those days it will be particularly helpful.  But we will have leaflets to deliver other times too, so any help any day is welcome!

If you and help with leafleting, please contact sarahjanefinch@gmail.com

Action Days

Come and join one of our Action Days, when we go out together knocking on doors and talking to residents in our target wards.

The next Action Day is on Saturday 13 April: 10am-3:30pm at Ruth’s house: 154 Brambletye Park Road, Earlswood, RH1 6ED  Please sign up if you’re able to come

No experience is required – full training will be provided, and all newbies will be teamed up with an experienced person. We will also have leaflets to deliver if you prefer that.

There are two ‘shifts’ – morning and afternoon – and a tasty veggie lunch will be provided in the middle of the day.

Our action days are fun and friendly. Do come and join in – you will be most welcome.

Polling day: 2 May 2019

We have just a few shifts left for ‘telling’ on polling day.  Telling involves sitting or standing outside a polling station and recording the numbers of people who have voted and we will be covering five polling stations all day. We’ve nearly got it covered but need a couple of people for an early (7-9/10am) or late (7-10pm) shift.  Can you help? If so, please contact Vicki Elcoate

Thank you!
