Khan petitions Khan!

Cllr Shasha Khan and London Assembly member Sian Berry submit the pettition to extend TFL bus route 463 to the Mayors office

Cllr Shasha Khan, Green Party councillor for Hooley, Merstham and Netherne, has been working hard to bring a bus service to Netherne-on-the-Hill.

The focus of the campaign has been to convince TFL to extend the 463 bus route, which currently terminates at Coulsdon South station, 1.8 miles south to Netherne-on-the Hill

In December, Cllr Khan and campaigners presented a petition with 552 signatures to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan

Shasha said, “Following Surrey County Council’s (SCC) decision to cancel the school bus, extending the 463 from Coulsdon South is vital for schoolchildren, the elderly and commuters.”

City Hall are expected to respond in early 2024.
