Thousands of people gathered on the south embankment of the Thames on Sunday 3rd November 2024 to march together dressed in blue to protest for clean water. There were groups from rivers like the River Mole River Watch in our area, groups from lakes like Windermere and groups who swim and surf in the sea. The inspiring speakers in Parliament Square included Chris Packham and were cheered loudly by the demonstrators filling the square.
